Salsa Social Dances

There is currently one Salsa Social Dance being held in Pittsburgh. Salsa Social dances are held in either Social Halls or Dance Studios (not held in Night Clubs) and are generally open to all ages.

Coal Country Traditions sponsors a social on the 3rd Sunday of each month (except July and August).


Salsa Dance at The BMNECC (3rd Sunday Latin Social)
Third Sundays Jan-June, Sept-Dec.  Recorded music, large wooden floor.

This Social is sponsored by Coal County Traditions - Originally held at the Edgewood Club - now being held at the BMNECC
Dances held on the following dates:

Salsa Lessons from 7:00 - 8:00 pm
Beginner lesson taught by Cecil Wenisch, Intermediate lesson taught by Connie Durning
Music provided by Bob Vescovi
Dancing from 8:00 pm until 11:00 pm
Non-smoking, cash bar,and "homemade snacks. All ages welcome.
Admission $10.00 ($8.00 for age 24 and under)

EVERY THIRD SUNDAY (except July & August)
