Special Event Tonight...Direct from NYC - Recording Artists, Los Ciegos Del Barrio, plus guest dance instructor, Joe Figueroa, from Philadelphia, PA.
Los Ciegos Del Barrio literally translates to "the Blind Boys from the Hood." Together since 1997, most of the band members are legally blind and perform Salsa, Merengue, Bachata, Cumbia, Reggaeton and Rock music in English and Spanish. Free bachata dance lesson from 10:00 - 10:30 pm taught by Joe Figueroa, DJ Jeff Shirey plays in between band sets. Age 21 and over. The cover charge for this event is $10.00.

Special night tonight featuring guest DJ Javier Rivera from Rochester, NY playing from 10:30 pm - 1:30 am. Javier is CEO of Latin Roc Entertainment and host of Rochester's #1 salsa radio show, Esencia Latina on Jazz 90.1 (WGMC-FM.) Javier was editor of the Afro-Caribbean magazine, Oasis Salsero and has also written Latin music articles and CD reviews for Rochester’s Democrat and Chronicle, CONXION and many other periodicals in the U.S. and Puerto Rico.  Javier has spent time on the road as a Salsa DJ showing his skills spinning old school salsa all over New York, Cleveland, and Canada. $5.00 cover tonight.
