The March Madness Salsa Weekend just ended and we wish to thank Darlin Garcia, Liz Becerra, and Uri Garcia from Philadelphia's Art in Motion Latin Dancers, as well as Al "Liquid Silver" Espinoza and Astrid Reyes from Miami's Liquid Silver Productions. The weekend was full of laughs, expert instruction, awesome shows, and memorable social dancing. Special Thanks to Viva Dance's Mambo Team from Cleveland for a wonderful performance Saturday night, and congratulations to members of the Choreography Class that performed a routine at the Edgewood Club's dance Sunday evening. Thanks to Bob, Cecil and Robert for helping promote the event and hosting the last night at the Edgewood Club, and also to Alisha, Heidi, and Kiana for helping with name tags and registration...and one more thing...Darlin, our house still smells like Bacon Grease from your cooking escapades! And finally, thanks to the Pittsburgh salsa community, as well as all of the out-of-town dancers for supporting us and our events. Hard to believe, but our first salsa event was April of 1999!
2009 marks a major Ten-Year Milestone in our journey with Latin music and dance and we still love it!
