Dancing with the Celebrities of Pittsburgh 2010
Congratulations to Absolute Ballroom Dance Instructor, Ryan Mitchell and his Celebrity Partner, KDKA's Jennifer Antkowiak for winning the 3rd Annual Dancing with the Celebrities of Pittsburgh (DWTCOP). Ryan and Jennifer won both the popular vote of the audience and also the prestigious Judges 1st place award with their sizzling salsa routine! 2nd place went to Ballroom Central's Bill Kumer and WDVE's Michele Michaels (Cha Cha), and 3rd place was awarded to Steel City Ballroom's Christopher Roth and WPXI's Danielle Nottingham (Cha Cha). 14 couples competed in this year's event held at the Westin Convention Center with over 600 people in attendance. Once again, thanks and kudos to event director/dance instructor, Luanne O'Brien for organizing this wonderful event that benefits local charities. Many thanks to ALL the instructors and celebrities involved in this year's event. Your countless hours of rehearsals resulted in a highly entertaining show that ultimately helped the following beneficiaries: Pittsburgh Caregiver Support network, Family House, Cancer Caring Center, and the Kiwanis Club of Pittsburgh.
