Salsa Social Dances

There are currently Four Salsa Social Dances being held in Pittsburgh. These dances are held in either Social Halls or Dance Studios (not held in Night Clubs) and are generally open to all ages. The Edgewood Club hosts a social on the 3rd Sunday of each month (except June/July/August); Salsa Pittsburgh hosts a social on the 2nd Saturday of each month (except July/August); Pittsburgh Dance Center hosts a Sunday Salsa social every Sunday, and a Bachata/Mambo night every Tuesday.. Absolute Ballroom hosts a Sunday Salsa Social on the 1st, 2nd, and 4th Sundays. (Socials are listed in order of longevity)

Weekly Salsa Social held every Sunday. Lessons from 7:00 - 8:30 pm. 7:00 pm Advanced lesson, 7:45 pm - Beginner and Intermediate lesson. Dance from 8:30-11:00 pm. $10.00 cover includes lesson, $5.00 cover for dancing only.

Tuesdays:
Bachata Night. Lessons in Mambo and Bachata from 7:00 - 9:00 pm followed by dancing until Midnight. $10.00 cover includes lesson, $5.00 cover for dancing only.
